Knowing the details now, the smart thing to do is book you and your kid in one room, wife and MIL in the other. You'd book the other room under her account with her in it. You'd need to book separately to do that. If it's just the two of you, it's pretty pointless to get two rooms since you'll both get casino drinks and points anyway and you're just paying extra for some things ($100 deposit if applicable since you pay for two even if there's only one in the room, gratuities, etc).Īs such, one person with an offer can't book two rooms on the same cruise because you cannot physically be in both rooms. There are ways you can sorta cheese it once you're onboard but it's a hassle. Meaning you can't use it to book a room for others because the person who got the offer needs to be in that room. You can use two people's offers for separate rooms as long as you're each booked in your own room. Otherwise no you don't have to do anything, you'll either get something or you won't. For most players, balcony and drinks is top of the mark. You're unlikely to get a better offer by waiting unless your play was high (10k+ points and I stress the +) and even then, if you haven't cruised much you probably won't get the best offers until you have a longer history with Carnival.
